Turners Crossing

Richly fruited and gorgeously complex, the wine shows blackberry, vanillia oak, cake spice and dried herb notes with a touch of cocoa on the nose. The concentrated palate delivers excellent depth and richness, beautifully complemented by plush texture and velvety tannins, finishing long and satisfying

WINE MAKER SPECIFICS

Colour: Deep crimson red

Aroma: The wine is expressive and complex with an array of fruit aromas of black fruit, spice, cloves and olive

Palate: The Shiraz is a balanced wine of lovely intense fruit flavours and has a full, rich textural mouth feel. It is tightly packed with notes of black fruit, spice, cloves and olive.

Ageing: Ready to drink now, but will most likely continue to improve for 3-4 years

Vintage: The region's weather through to harvest was dry but of moderate heat, providing good ripening conditions. 2017 yields were moderate, but produced flavoursome Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon in particular.

Food Friends: The 2017 Shiraz is superb with slow roasted lamb shoulder, veal ragu tossed through freshly made pasta - and is the perfect guest to bring along to your next BBQ
